Pep Guardiola’s side won comfortably at Newcastle last season en route to the league title, scoring four unanswered goals, but the home side thought they should be awarded a penalty when City goalkeeper Ederson clattered into Ryan Fraser.
The day’s other games sees West Ham United take on Brighton & Hove Albion, while Leeds United host Chelsea – the Blues are unbeaten in eight meetings with the Yorkshire club, their last defeat coming at Elland Road nearly 20 years ago.
