Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils finished third last season, one place below the Gunners, and they will be hoping their summer recruitment helps them close the gap as they aim to lift the Premier League title for the first time since 2013. But Mikel Arteta’s team have spent big themselves as they look to end a 20-year title drought of their own.
